Remember…

Dress the part – If the company requires you to be in business attire then be in business attire.  If you are used to wearing more casual attire, then dressing appropriately could give the company the impression that you consider the job important by dressing up for it.  Dress in something chic yet comfortable, so that you feel confident and relaxed.  Pastel colors are a nice choice, because colors that are too bright might distract, or even worse, irritate the interviewer.

Be early – Do not ever be late.  As the saying goes…”Early bird catches the worm.”  Being late for an interview could be an indicator that you are not that interested in the job or that you do not take your application seriously.  It is much better to arrive earlier than the interviewer.

Update your résumé - The skills and experiences you place in your résumé should match the qualifications needed for the job/position you are applying for.

Relate

Show confidence while you are in an interview (especially when the position you are applying for calls for it.)  Show the interviewer that you are capable of expressing your ideas clearly, but be careful not to give them a belittling impression of your knowledge.

Listen intently to the questions given to you - listening and understanding what the question is asking helps you a lot in giving the correct responses.  Do not blab unnecessarily, make every word count because you want to impress the interviewer leaving them with an articulate and knowledgeable impression of you.

Do not give out negative comments about your previous employers - this will not help you get the interviewer’s sympathy.  Instead, the interviewer might see you as potential trouble-maker or might think you will do the same “trash talking” about their company once you resign from them.
