gypsyI have been with WWPI for 28 months now, been an agent for 23 months, I used to be with WIRE , from there I was moved to a new account, a couple of months after, I was moved to another account my final destination . They probably hated me that’s why I was thrown from one team to another. I’m just kidding. Being with WWPI is fun and challenging. I could still remember the first time my batch mates and I were asked to dial, I had my first complete and my first mistake, there was this part of the survey where I had to probe and clarify but I was too nervous to focus, so I had to tell my respondent “Uhh, sir, I would like to probe? mean I need to probe, yeah I am probing.“ And my respondent just said, “go honey probe!”. That was really embarrassing. Oh, well people make mistakes and learn from them afterwards. That wasn’t the first crazy thing that I did though. You could think of something much worse than that. It was also with WW that my patience was tested. I don’t have much of that you know, but I was able to handle it, hey who wouldn’t get pissed-off when everyday of your life you wake-up and get yelled at? You know what I mean. But eventually I’ve learned to love my respondents. Why? It’s where I get my pay! Without them I wouldn’t be here, me and my big mouth. That’s all I do, talk and get paid, isn’t that tight? It was also in WW that my hands became dexterous, I wasn’t that good in using PC’s, I was cyber phobic, but then my skills were enhanced when I started working here. It also taught me how to deal with people that I work with everyday. I met new friends, gained friends and saw old friends that I haven’t seen for century! Funny thing is I’ve never had a friend who’s like 20 yrs. older than I am until I came here. And I found out that old people aren’t boring at all, they just know a lot of things we will soon know when we reach their age. Being at my position right now (Supervisor), is really challenging, because people look up to you, you make one wrong move and you’ll get all the nasty comments you’ll never want to hear in your entire life. WW gave me the chance to prove my worth, although I’m still in the process of learning a lot of things, I know I’ll get by. I’ve learned to love my work so I don’t have to work at all. So yeah, I enjoy working here at WWPI, I couldn’t speak ill of the company that helped get through the rain.
